linux - what is the difference between chanctx based drivers and non-chanctx based drivers? -

i newbie linux device drivers. have been writing driver wlan device. while registering callbacks mac80211, found few callbacks (optional ones) regarding channel contexts. dont understand how work?

please go through this link understand significance of structures.
