please check if root view controller uiviewcontroller connections intact. happens due broken link on interface builder. if using storyboards, make sure haven't hooked duplicate referencing outlets. ensure importing appdelegate.h.

again there n number of reason crash. please use exception or symbolic break point come conclusion.
